Jacqui Kernot

Vice Present, Thales Cyber Security Services ANZ and General Manager - Tesserent

Jacqui joined Thales Australia in late November 2024 as the Vice President of Cybersecurity and General Manager of Tesserent.

She is one of Australia’s most experienced cyber security and risk professionals with a strong strategic understanding of the cyber sector and a career spanning nearly three decades across various verticals including Defence, Space, Intelligence, Telecommunications, Financial Services and Government, in both Australia, the UK and Europe.

Previously she lead Accenture’s Security business for Australia and New Zealand, and prior to that was a cyber partner in consulting firm EY. Her most recent career has been in P&L leadership roles in cyber businesses with Telstra and Accenture. Jacqui has had the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of customers across Federal and State Government, Corporate and Financial Services. She is a former military intelligence officer with 25 years of service both full and part time, which included postings to 6 BDE, G6, SOCOM and NATO.

Jacqui is a strong leader and speaker who is passionate about and committed to change in our industry and the workplace, to make work a better human experience. Jacqui is also Chair for Females in IT and Telecommunications, the longest running and largest organisation for women in tech in Australia.
