James brings a distinguished background in Sales and Go-To-Market Strategy, with an impressive breadth of experience across the IT Services landscape in the Australian market.

In 2010, James played a pivotal role as a founding member of the highly successful Australian startup, VMtech. Under his leadership as Sales Director, VMtech experienced rapid growth through robust customer engagement. The company garnered industry recognition for its fast-paced expansion, including accolades such as the AFR Fast 100 (2017), Deloitte Tech Fast 50 (2016), and BRW Fast 100 (2015, 2016).

Subsequently, In 2019, VMtech joined with fellow acquisitions to launch Telstra Purple to market. James enjoyed a successful career at Telstra Purple continuing a focus on high-growth Services elements of Telstra Purple’s portfolio.

In September 2023, James joined Tesserent as Chief Growth Officer responsible for Go To Market strategy, Account Management and Marketing.
